Two men have been arrested in what Chicago police believe to be a "chop shop" operation on the city's Northwest Side.

Officers seized two stolen cars and discovered another 29, which have been impounded pending further investigation. A large number of auto parts was also seized, a Chicago police news release said.

Mirza Meseljevic, 23, of Skokie, and Samel Meseljevic, 34, of Chicago, have been charged with one count each of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Officers say they received a tip that a stolen car was at a warehouse in the 5800 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue. Acting on the tip, officers conducted surveillance on the warehouse and executed a search warrant Friday.
