Police say officers were called to the Greenwoods Camp for Boys about 10 p.m. Wednesday after Jacob Waxberg, 15, disappeared in the Lake of the Woods. Emergency crews pulled him out of the water after 15 or 20 minutes, but were unable to revive him.
ABC7's news partner The Daily Herald says grief counselors will be at the camp to work with campers, families and staff. Waxberg was a sophomore at Stevenson High School, and the school will also have grief counseling available for students and staff who need it.
