Fifteen students at Naperville North High School have been suspended for drinking before the first day of school.

As ABC7 first reported last Thursday, as many as 20 students were being questioned after some appeared drunk that day.

School officials say as many as three houses served as locations for student parties the night before school began. Some parties lasted until 5 a.m.

All the suspensions involved seniors. They got 10-day suspensions with the option of reducing it to five days if the students opt to be evaluated for substance-abuse issues.
