Turkey burgers (Dr. Bob's)

Recipe from Mity Nice at Water Tower Place, 835 N. Michigan Avenue.

QUANTITY PRODUCED: Approx 8- 8 oz. patties

Light Olive oil, Chopped Yellow Onion Chopped, peeled garlic & Chopped green pepper Light Olive oil

Chopped Yellow Onion

2 Tblsp. of light olive oil
1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
1 tsp chopped, peeled garlic
1/8 cup chopped green pepper
2 lbs groung turkey
1 tsp. Dijon Mustard
1 tsp. Heinz 57 sauce
1/2 tsp. Kosher salt
1/2 tsp. Freshly Ground & Cracked black pepper
4 Hamburger Buns
8 Sliced Tomatoes
8 Iceberg Lettuce
4 tsp. Mayonnaise


1. Saute the green peppers, onions and garlic in olive oil till light golden in color.

2. Cool and mix with the remaining ingredients.

3. Form into 7 oz. patties

4. Season patties with salt and pepper and place on the grill

5. Cook patties until well done (165 degrees F) but not overly done

6. Toast Hamburger Bun

7. Add 1 tbsp of mayo, 2 pieces of lettuce, 2 pieces of tomato to the bottom of each byn

8. Top with cooked turkey burger and top bun
