Joey Chavez, 36, is charged with aggravated DUI in a hit-and-run crash that killed two children -- 10-month-old Julissa and 5-year-old Eric Ochoa.

Chavez is being held on $550,000 bond.

Prosecutors allege Chavez was on drugs when he caused two accidents on Saturday night. He allegedly drove off after a minor accident near 43rd and Western Saturday evening only to crash into another car just two blocks later near 45th and Western. The children were killed. Chavez and four others were injured.
