August 22, 2012 (CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill.)

Scott Hirschey was arrested July 27 for a misdemeanor count of DUI. He was later released on $3,000 bond.

Hirschey was last charged with DUI back in January 2008 in Wisconsin. Police say he lost control of a snowmobile he was riding on with his good friend and Chicago news anchor Randy Salerno.

Salerno died in the crash. Hirschey was sentenced to three years probation in July 2009.
