Gear shift problem prompts GM recall

September 21, 2012 1:30:52 PM PDT
General Motors says it needs to fix a gear problem in more than 400,000 Chevy Malibus, Pontiac G-6 and Saturn Aura Sedans with 4-speed automatic transmissions.

The recall includes model years 2007 through 2010.

The issue can cause the cars to roll when the drivers think they are in park.

Four crashes have been linked to the problem.
