Authorities said the bus had to pull over on the Dan Ryan near where it meets the Stevenson on Wednesday. The bus then got a police escort to the jail by Illinois State Police and the Chicago Police Department.
There were 52 inmates were on the bus, and ten were involved in the scuffle. One inmate suffered minor injuries.
Officials said on Wednesday night that everyone is back at the jail.
