Children from around the world become official U.S. citizens in Chicago

At the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office Wednesday afternoon, there was a special swearing in ceremony. Children from around the world made it official and became U.S. citizens.

At the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office Wednesday afternoon, there was a special swearing in ceremony.

Children from around the world made it official and became U.S. citizens. They came from around the world, 55 youngsters from age five to 17. And seeing as this is the eve of Halloween, they came dressed in costumes.

They are Americans now but they come from 22 different countries.
