A severely injured high school football player remains in intensive care five weeks after he was hurt during a game.

Drew Williams, 17, suffered a brain injury last month. Family members say he remains in a coma. And they're trying to cope with the expenses.

A fundraiser will be held Sunday to help the family raise money for medical care.

The Lane Tech High School player suffered bleeding on the brain after taking a hit on the field.

According to a post on Williams' recovery Facebook page, the teen is returned to intensive care with an infection around Halloween. He had been released to rehab but was rushed back to the hospital to be treated.
