Fire rips through Chicago home

A fire Tuesday morning forced people in a neighborhood on Chicago's Northwest Side to evacuate their homes. Smoke and flames poured out of the windows of a single family home on West Cullerton and Pulaski just after 3 a.m. Because of fears that the fire would spread firefighters evacuated the residents of the nearby homes.

The woman who lived in the burning home managed to get out.

There's been no word of any injuries.

It's unclear how the fire started.
