More routes accessible on CTA's bus tracker

CHICAGO Starting April 7, CTA Bus Tracker will offer the real-time progress of 13 new bus routes:

#35- 35th Street Bus

#39-Pershing Bus

#43-43rd Street Bus

#49- Western Bus

#X49- Western Express Bus

#54 B- South Cicero Bus

#55A-55th St/Austin Bus

#55N- 55th Street/Narrangansett Bus

#62-Archer Bus

#62H- Archer/Harlem Bus

#63W-West 63rd Bus

#94-South California Bus

#165-West 65th Bus

That's in addition to the #20 Madison bus line, which was the first route in the pilot program.

CTA Ron Huberman said all bus routes would be available on the Bus Tracker system with in a year.

Before leaving home or work, bus riders can log on to the CTA's Bus Tracker website, ctabustracker.com, to see where the buses are in real-time-- and find out the estimated time for an arrival at a selected stop.
