A New York man claims he was forced to sit on the toilet for more than three hours on a flight from San Diego to New York.
He says about ninety minutes into the flight the pilot told him he had to give up his seat to a flight attendant because the jump seat she was assigned to was uncomfortable. He claims the pilot told him to "go hang out in the bathroom."
According to the lawsuit, the man expressed reluctance but the pilot told him he was in command and that the passenger "should be grateful for being on board."
A Jet Blue spokesman has declined to comment on the lawsuit.
