"Stage side chats" with the Jersey Boys

The Jersey Boys are quite at home in Chicago and the city has fallen in love with them as well. Now fans can have a chance to get to know them a little better. Cast members will participate in a series of four Stage Side Chats at Tuesday night performances May 20 through June 10. The actors, who bring the show to life eight times a week, will host a brief question and answer session following that evening's performance with the actors who bring this show to life eight times a week. Chicago's own Jersey Boys is on stage at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe, in an open run.

Directed by two-time Tony® Award-winner Des McAnuff, Jersey Boys won both the 2006 Tony® Award for Best Musical and the 2007 Grammy Award® for Best Musical Recording, and continues to break box office records on Broadway and in Chicago. Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award®-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.

Jersey Boys premiered in Chicago on October 5, 2007 and became a resident production on February 27 this year. The performance schedule is as follows: Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.; Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.; Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.; and Sundays at 2 p.m.
