7-year-old shot in Joliet improving
The mother of Davarius Gadson says he is now walking around and feeling better. The first-grade student - who was shot in the chest - is still being treated at Loyola Medical Center. His mother says his ribs are cracked and, at this point, it's unclear how soon he'll be released from the hospital.
The boy's uncles - Antwan and Anthony Paige, who are brothers, were also hit.
Authorities say the shooting may be gang related.
Joliet police say they are looking for two persons of interest.
