Charity gets $5M for Chicago community center

The Salvation Army has received a $5 million gift for a new community center in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood.The money for the Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center came from an anonymous donor.

The Kroc Center will provide the West Pullman community with arts programs, athletic activities and continuing education programs.

The Salvation Army still needs to raise another $50 million for the project.

It hopes to break ground for the center sometime next year.
