CTA worker injured

CHICAGO It happened around 11 a.m. Thursday morning near the Red Line's Belmont station. A CTA spokesperson says the worker had been flagging train traffic.

The female worker was transported to Illinois Masonic in serious to critical condition. She was conscious and talking.

Power was shut off for a short time, affecting service in the area. Shuttle buses were put into place. CTA train service was back up and running normally.
