The CTA is sending e-mails and letters to card holders explaining how to get a new one.
CTA warns Chicago Card Plus holders about expiration
CHICAGO
Nearly 37,000 CTA customers bought the card between August and October of 2004.
Those cards will expire at the end of this month.
