Study warns: avoid juice with certain drugs

A new Canadian study suggests orange and apple juice may also limit the body's ability to absorb drugs. In some cases, the juices wipe out any beneficial effects of the medicine.

Among some of the affected drugs are anti-cancer drugs, high blood pressure drugs and some antibiotics.

If the study holds true, experts say there may need to be a warning about other juices. For now, they recommend taking your medication with water.
