Major mess on Tri-State Tollway

WILLOW SPRINGS, Ill. A power line is down on the Tri-State at 159th Street near Markham, forcing all the traffic in the southbound lanes to stop until ComEd can remove it.

Also on the Tri-State, traffic is backed up near Archer Avenue, where two semis collided. One truck caught fire, forcing officials to close all the southbound lanes as they worked the scene. Investigators say one driver has been killed.

The fire is now out, but traffic is still backed up in the area, which is near Willow Springs.
