Ibuprofen may be best against fever

The report in the British Medical Journal claims ibuprofen can reduce a fever faster and for a longer period of time.

It also finds that alternating ibuprofen with acetaminophen helps lessen a fever faster. Researchers say children given both medicines spent 55 minutes less time with fever compared to those given acetaminophen alone.

Alternatively, giving both medicines was not markedly better than just giving ibuprofen alone.
