Four Illinois county governments will soon be getting financial help recovering from severe flooding.Federal assistance was approved Wednesday for Cook, DuPage, Grundy and LaSalle counties to help people recover from last month's severe flooding.

Governmental units in those counties can ask to be reimbursed for 75 percent of expenses. The money can be used to pay for debris removal from public roads and other costs responding to floods.

Earlier this month, federal assistance was approved for residents and businesses in the four counties along with three others.
