The first was in the 5400 block of South Lake Park Avenue. A ten-year-old child spotted someone who appeared to be wearing clown make up. That person did not say anything to the child.
The second incident happened in the 7700 block of South Shore Drive. Witnesses told police the person got out of a car and tried talking to some children. They ran away and the person dressed as a clown left the scene.
Chicago police say previous incidents happened near schools on the South and West Sides.
