Safeway offers gas discounts to Dominick's shoppers

Shopping at a chain of grocery stores can help save money on gasoline. Safeway, the parent company of Dominick's is giving customers with "Fresh Values" cards gasoline credits for grocery purchases. For every $100 customers spend at Dominick's, they will receive 10 cents off every gallon of gas at the 300 Safeway-owned gas stations nationwide.

Or Dominick's customers will receive $1.50 off the purchase of gasoline at participating BP gas stations.

The Power Pump program has already been launched in five other states.
