HAZMAT call at Lincolnshire plant

No injuries were reported, but a hazardous materials scare prompted the evacuation of about 60 employees from a Honeywell facility in north suburban Lincolnshire Tuesday. Fire officials say they are still not sure if there was an actual leak. Crews responded after alarms at the facility went off.

The plant manufactures monitoring equipment. Hydrogen cyanide is used to test the equipment.

The building was closed and was ventilated.
