Study: Vitamin C, E do not reduce cancer

Several weeks ago a study showed the same for men.

More than 7600 women with a high risk for heart disease were randomly assigned to take Vitamin C, Vitamin E , Beta Carotene or a placebo.

Doctors kept tabs on the participants for more than nine years. Their results are now out in "The Journal Of The National Cancer Institute".

Researchers say that those women taking the antioxidant supplements did not have any lower risk for cancer.
