Bond set at 50K for Jordanian national

Bond has been set at $50,000 for a Jordanian national charged with mailing a bomb threat to a Jewish school in Chicago.Mohammed Alkaramia, 24, will be released to the custody of his father and placed on electronic monitoring.

He was originally held without bond after his arrest on Friday.

Prosecutors say they linked him to a threatening letter that was sent to the Ida Crown Jewish Academy in December in response to the Israeli invasion of the Gaza strip.
