LOSS gathers for support brunch in Oakbrook

Hundreds of people who have lost a friend or loved one to suicide found comfort from those who've had the same experience Sunday.An organization called LOSS, which stands for Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide, held its gala brunch Sunday at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace.

ABC7 Chicago's Kevin Roy, who lost his mother to suicide, served as the master of ceremonies.

LOSS is run by Catholic Charities and was founded 30 years ago. It is one of the first support groups for survivors of suicide.
