Garbage truck crash kills 2

September 2, 2009 (CHICAGO) The accident happened near the intersection of North Central Park and West Fullerton. Firefighters had to cut through the car's mangled roof to free the victims.

The garbage truck ended up on its side. That driver was also hurt. Police are investigating.

The two men killed have been identified as Michael B. Tate, 30, and Marc Duncan, 27, both of Chicago.

Tate was pronounced dead on the scene, and Duncan was pronounced dead at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center at 3:34 a.m., according to the medical examiner's office.
