Disney wants to change Mickey's image

November 5, 2009 Disney, the parent company of ABC 7, is apparently concerned that the mouse has become more of a corporate symbol than a beloved character.

So to change that image, next year Mickey will appear in a new video game called "Epic Mickey" in which the formerly squeaky-clean character becomes more cunning.

Disney is also said to be looking at ways to change the way Mickey walks and talks and with how children interact with him.
