Blueberry Kugel from Max and Benny's in Northbrook

12 oz. broad egg noodles (well cooked, rinsed to cool and drained well)
8 eggs
1/2 pound sugar
14 oz. half and half
18 oz. whole milk
8 oz. fresh rinsed/drained blueberries (squeezed out in seive, after weighing the "drained" weight)
1 TBSP vanilla
8 oz. heavy whipping cream
Pinch of salt

Place cooled noodles in a food release sprayed 9 x 13 oven proof glass pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of the blueberries over noodles. Reserve the other berries for later. Combine other ingredients and pour over noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Take out, place remaining blueberries in a design of your choosing. Return to oven and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the center is set.
