An activist group is appealing to Pope Benedict to stop transferring priests who are accused of molesting children to other countries.

The appeal follows an investigation by the Associated Press that found 30 Roman Catholic clerics are now working in new countries for the church despite having been convicted in a previous country.

Members of the group SNAP demonstrated on the steps of the Archdiocese of Chicago Thursday. They're asking Cardinal Francis George to push the Pope to set up a public, online registry of predator priests across the globe.
