They took the citizenship oath at a naturalization ceremony on Chicago's Southwest Side at the United Neighborhood Organization(UNO)'s Veterans Memorial School.
UNO held the ceremony to coincide with Flag Day, which commemorates the adoption of the American flag in 1777.
UNO has helped naturalize more than 80,000 American citizens throughout its 25-year history.
