"Portrait of a Solider" features more than 250 sketches of men and women who have died while serving in the military since September 11, 2001.
The exhibit, which starts July 5 and goes till July 8, is the work of artist Cameron Shilling. Several families of the fallen heroes were at Friday's opening at the Thompson Center.
