ABC7 news partners at The Daily Herald report that 58-year-old David Richards was taken into custody on July 21st. West Chicago police say the incident happened five days earlier on Route 64.
Richards is charged with disorderly conduct.
The Daily Herald reports that Richards may step down from his position as alderman.
