Twenty-seven-year-old Eric Winn of Crown Point will spend six months behind bars and twelve months on probation.
Winn pleaded guilty earlier this month. He was accused of soliciting a former middle school student to engage in fondling and improper touching.
Winn will also have to register as a convicted sex offender.
