Constantine Maroulis Stars in 'Rock of Ages'

(NEWS RELEASE) Tony Award Nominee and American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis, reprises his acclaimed performance as Drew. "Rock of Ages" takes place in 1987 on the Sunset Strip where a small town girl meets a big city rocker at LA's most famous rock club. From there, the pair falls in love to the greatest songs of the 1980s. "Rock of Ages" will be at The Bank of America Theatre from September 21, 2010 - October 3, 2010.

The First National Tour launches in Chicago, Illinois in September 21

CHICAGO (August 16, 2010) Broadway In Chicago and the producers of the five-time Tony Award nominated smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES have announced the cast that will rock the nation in the 60-city, first national tour kicking off at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago on September 21, 2010. Tickets for this exclusive two week engagement are currently on sale.

Coming to you direct from Broadway is previously announced Tony Award® Nominee and "American Idol" finalist, Constantine Maroulis, who will reprise his acclaimed performance as Drew. Maroulis made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award® Nominated 2007 production of The Wedding Singer and co-starred in Off Broadway's critically acclaimed production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris.

The book is by Chris D'Arienzo (writer and director of the film Barry Munday), the Music Supervision, Arrangements & Orchestrations are by Ethan Popp (Tarzan; Europe: We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia) and the original arrangements are by David Gibbs (Counting Crows, Film: That Thing You Do).

CHICAGO (September 20, 2010) -- The launch of the First National Tour of ROCK OF AGES is just days away! Chicago is ready to rock as performances of the five time Tony Award® nominated smash-hit musical begin this Tuesday, September 21 at the Bank of America Theatre (18 W. Monroe). In addition, the producers, along with Broadway In Chicago, are excited to announce that $25 rush seats will be available for every performance.

At least 25 rush seats will be available for only $25, cash or credit, for each performance. Rush seats are available beginning at 10:00 a.m. the day of each performance at the Bank of America Theatre box office (18 W. Monroe). Additional seats, subject to availability at select performances, may be made available. There is a limit of two tickets per patron.
