American Airlines says it will stop working with Orbitz on December 1 if the two sides cannot agree on new financial terms.
American wants Orbitz and other online travel agencies to obtain flight information directly from the airline, according to Global Distribution Systems.
American says it's trying to make ticketing more cost-effective and efficient.
