Accountant charged with stealing from Oak Lawn company

A suburban Midlothian woman is accused of stealing money from an Oak Lawn company.

Tina Castaneda is charged with theft.

Prosecutors say she was working as an accountant when she siphoned more than $600,000 over a three-and-a-half year period.

Castaneda worked for Disteldorf in Oak Lawn, where she managed the funds for the Nash Group, which is a health care consulting firm in Oak Lawn.

Castaneda is accused of taking money from the Nash Group.
