Anthony Huebner of Aurora, 26, wed 24-year-old Stephanie Thompson Huebner. She proved that she is a 'tough Texan' by posing for pictures outdoors in bitter cold, while wearing a bare-shouldered wedding gown.
Both are Army first lieutenants serving in Afghanistan. They met while attending Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Their fathers are military veterans, as is the groom's grandfather.
Adding to the wedding's military theme, the priest who married the officers is an Army reservist.
