Moment of Silence returns for Illinois students

Students across the state started their day with a moment of silence.

It was the first time in 2 years that Illinois took part in a law mandating a time for quiet reflection at the start of the day in public schools.

The Illinois State Board Of Education told school officials last Friday that a federal judge lifted the injunction banning the moment of silence. Some schools plan to bring back the moment of silence Wednesday.
