Rush University is working with Chicago police to find the men who attacked two students and shot one of them in an apparent robbery attempt.

It happened at about 7 p.m. Monday at 1449 West Harrison.

Police say a man and his girlfriend, who are both students, were walking together when two offenders came out of a parking lot. One grabbed the man by his shoulder and told him not to move. The victim kicked the offender who then shot him in the right thigh.

The offenders took off in a white sedan driven by a third man.

Rush is offering a $10,000 reward in the case.
