The Super Bowl is among the biggest days for pizza delivery companies.
The trade magazine Pizza Today reports pizzerias typically see a 35 percent boost in sales on super bowl Sunday. Traditional toppings like pepperoni and sausage are the most popular.
The Super Bowl ranks in the top five busiest pizza days across the U.S. which include Halloween, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and, surprisingly, Thanksgiving.
