Ground broken for new Pilsen charter school

Ground was broken Friday on a new charter high school in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.

Institute Health Sciences Career Academy will prepare students for health science jobs.

The project will redevelop an existing warehouse.

The construction will create 160 jobs.

Gov. Pat Quinn was on hand for the groundbreaking.

He says the project is supported by $12 million provided by the Illinois Jobs Now capital construction project.
