Johnell Walker faces arson charges in connection with a fire that critically injured his infant daughter and left 62 people homeless.
Walker is accused of starting the fire Monday night in the 700 block of North Central Avenue on the city's West Side.
His 6-month-old daughter is now hospitalized with severe brain injuries.
According to police, Walker lit fireworks inside his apartment following an argument with his girlfriend.
