Metra has decided it will not build a new train station in the northern suburbs.The transit agency has abandoned plans to build a proposed station in Ridgefield.
Metra was going to hold a public hearing Tuesday on annexing a 17-acre site that stretched into nearby Crystal Lake. But the project is being scrapped because of lack of funding.
