Two dogs- a male bulldog and a Shih Tzu- were stolen from a Naperville home earlier this month. Now Crime Stoppers is offering $1,000 reward in the case.

Max, the 8 month old bulldog, weighs 36 pounds and is brown with white marks on his nose, chest and paws. Magwai, a 2 year old Shih Tzu, weighs 15 pounds and has long white hair, brown ears and is brown and white. Max had a black collar and Magwai has a red Disney collar, according to a release from the Naperville Police Department.

Police say the two dogs were taken out of steel cages in an apartment on Loveland Street on April 4 between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. They say the apartment was not locked.

Neither dog has a microchip.
