Authorities say 69-year-old Sam Manyfield has a history of drunk driving. He is charged in the death of 52-year-old Yvonne Williams of Chicago.
Manyfield is accused of running a red light and hitting Williams as she crossed the street Tuesday morning at 46th and Ashland on the city's South Side. Manyfield was arrested a short time later.
