Police are searching for the thieves behind two break-ins at a Greek Orthodox church on Chicago's Near North Side.

Church officials say burglars took cash and other items from the Annunciation Cathedral Greek Orthodox Church on North LaSalle.

The first break-in happened last week. A janitor discovered the second burglary around 6 a.m. Sunday when he noticed someone had broke through a door with a stained glass window.

Police say the thieves used a crowbar to break into a collection box filled with cash.
