A Chicago man has been charged in a string of iPhone thefts on the North Side.

Michael Roberson, 28, was arrested on the 1100 of North Clark Monday shortly after one of the thefts took place.

A woman told police she recognized Roberson as the man who stole her phone at a restaurant near Division and Dearborn.

Other phones were reported stolen at businesses near State and Chicago and at State and Chestnut.

Police say Roberson is a suspect in at least eight other iPhone robberies.
